In Tuscany in Viareggio the excellence of luxury boating
In Viareggio, from 10 to 13 May 2018, will be held the second edition of "Versilia yachting rendez vous", an exclusive showcase dedicated to the nautical excellence, A great spring event that anticipates the market, promoting the high range of production international boating.
Presented in Milan in the studios of Radio Monte Carlo, radio partner of the event, and with the contribution of Regione Toscana, in Viareggio, in the heart of world shipbuilding, the "Versilia yachting rendez vous", wants to be the appointment that extends the horizons of the nautical sector and its future.
This edition, which will involve the entire Versilia, will have a single common thread that will celebrate the marriage between Nautica, Art, Design, Fashion and Food.
With more than 170 exhibiting companies, and in a pool of almost 50 thousand square meters, there will therefore be a hundred large yachts, vessels with an estimated average length of over 30 meters.
Among construction sites, accessories and components of the production chain and services of excellence linked to the sector, as well as conferences, workshops and moments of celebration, Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous will be the ideal event to celebrate boating, in a new exhibition concept to the previous edition.
The exhibition will consist of larger and more functional areas equipped with wi-fi technologies with a new ticket office, which will rise on the promenade of Viareggio in Viale Regina Margherita, close to the pier and before access to the port.
On the promenade of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous 2018 an area dedicated to historic cars will also come to life. The new Welcome Area, an igloo space dedicated to welcoming buyers and exhibitors, will be built on the Lungo Canale Palombari dell'Artiglio.
Among the exhibitors of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous boatshow there will be among others, Apreamare, Baglietto, Canados, Cantieri di Sarnico, Cerri Cantieri Navali, Codecasa, Fincantieri, Giorgio Mussini, GP Yachts, Azimut-Benetti Group, Ferretti Group, Perini Navi , Sanlorenzo Yachts, Phi Yacht - Skipper and Novamarine. The maxi-rib world will also have ample space with the participation of brands such as Sacs, Magazzù and Tecnorib.
Many companies in the world of accessories and components for large yachts will be present: among others, the presence of Volvo, Besenzoni, Opacmare, Furuno, Bertazzoni, Guidi, Mase Generators, Boero Bartolomeo, Jotun and Azko Nobel and Videoworks is confirmed.
An event that confirms the trend of the last five years, in which Italian shipbuilding is the world leader in the large yacht segment, with a number of shipments over 30 meters long, equal to 288 units, followed by Holland (98 units) ) and from the United Kingdom (64 units).
In particular, in Viareggio there are over 1400 active companies and ten are construction sites with international brands, just think that out of about 400 boats over 50 meters that make up the world fleet, 100 were built by shipyards based in Viareggio, then the 25% of world production.
